CM Shri Chouhan seeks blessings of Swami Rambhadracharya

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh sought blessings of Padmvibhushan Swami Shri Rambhadracharyaji Maharaj at his ashram in Mangalnath zone in Simhastha Mela area today. The Chief Minister presented shawl and coconut to Swami Ji. Swami Shri Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj called for enriching Maharshi Panini Sanskrit Vishwavidayalaya, Ujjain. He said that culture in the state should be revaluated. He will extend maximum cooperation in it.

CM Shivraj said rating should be on basis of financial condition-For all States

Governor of Reserve Bank of India Shri Raghuram Rajan met Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. Shri Chouhan said that states' rating should be done on the basis of their financial condition. States with good financial condition should be encouraged. RBI Governor Shri Rajan praised continuous impressive economic growth rate of Madhya Pradesh. He said that financial literacy should be included in school syllabus. CM, MP Shri Chouhan met 70 envoys in New Delhi: invited for ideological Simhastha

Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed envoys of various countries at office of Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi today. He invited them to ideological Mahakumbh to be held from May 12 to 14 during Simhastha-2016 at Ujjain. Envoys of about 70 countries attended the programme. Mainly, envoys of Austria, Somalia, Zambia, Maldives, Guyana, Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Egypt, Senegal, Bhutan, Nepal, Libya, Colombia, Korea, Sudan, Afghanistan, Greece, Singapore, Uganda, Cuba, Panama, United Kingdom etc were present on the occasion.

Dhoom of 280 tribal students in JEE Mains

Out of 597 students studying in class 12 CBSE schools of Tribal Development Department in 20 tribal dominant districts of the state, 280 have cracked JEE Mains. Of these, 212 are tribal students, 41 scheduled cast and 27 OBC students. Thus, these students have reached the first destination of 'Ham Chhoo Lenge Asman'.

Besides, 2 students belonging to primitive tribe Sahariya have also tasted success. Through efforts by Tribal Development Department, these students have got admission in IITs.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister of External Affairs Smt. Sushma Swaraj dedicated and laid foundation stones for construction works costing Rs. 187 crore 70 lakh at Nasrullaganj in Sehore district today. They also distributed benefits worth Rs. 46 crore to 77 thousand 247 beneficiaries at Antyodaya Mela.

Finance and Commercial Taxes Minister Shri Jayant Malaiya has assured that problems of businessmen will be considered sympathetically. Over 32 lakh MT wheat procured on support price-Farmers paid Rs. 3114 crore

Procurement of wheat on support price is going on in Madhya Pradesh since March 16. So far, 32 lakh 3 thousand MT wheat has been procured at 3000 procurement centres in the state. Wheat is being procured this year on support price of Rs. 1525 per quintal. So far, wheat has been procured from 4 lakh 14 thousand 777 farmers and a payment of Rs. 3114 crore made to them.

Among divisions, 2 lakh 60 thousand MT wheat has been procured in Indore, 10 lakh 37 thousand MT Bhopal, 7 lakh 61 thousand MT
