डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह ने राज्यों से कुछ नोकरियों के लिए साक्षात्कार प्रथा समाप्त करने का आग्रह किया

पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र विकास राज्य मंत्री(स्वतंत्र प्रभार),प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय में राज्य मंत्री , कार्मिक, लोक शिकायत,पेंशन,परमाणु ऊर्जा तथा अंतरिक्ष राज्य मंत्री डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह ने राज्यों से आग्रह किया है कि वे उन नौकरियों के लिए जारी साक्षात्कार प्रथा को समाप्त करें जहां इसकी आवश्यकता नहीं है। डॉ. सिंह आज यहां विभिन्न राज्यों तथा केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के सामान्य प्रशासन विभागों के प्रधान सचिवों की बैठक को संबोधित कर रहे थे।

A Joint Conference of Chief Justices of High Courts and Chief Ministers of States is being held on coming Sunday i.e. 24th April, 2016 at Vigyan Bhawan, here in New Delhi . This will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the august presence of Justice Shri T.S.Thakur, Chief Justice, Supreme Court and Shri D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Union Law and Justice Minister. This conference is held periodically to address pressing issues relating to the administration of justice in the country. Last year it was held on 5th April, 2015.

The Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh, chaired a meeting of the High Level Committee (HLC) here today for Central Assistance to Karnataka, Puducherry and Arunachal Pradesh affected by drought and floods. 
The Union Minister for Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information and Broadcasting Shri Arun Jaitley, Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Union Home Secretary Shri Rajiv Mehrishi and senior officers of the Ministries of Home, Finance and Agriculture attended the meeting.

President of India to attend the Khongjom day tomorrow

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will visit Manipur tomorrow (April 23, 2016) 
Where he will attend the Khongjom Day Observation 2016 and inaugurate a Monument-cum-Tourist Centre at Khongjom, Manipur. 
Khongjom Day is observed on the 23rd April every year by the Government of Manipur to pay tribute to the brave sons of Manipur who made supreme sacrifice for the cause of their motherland.
